RESOLVE of New England's Annual
Fertility Treatment, Donor Choices, & Adoption Conference

Saturday, November 6, 2010

Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel, Marlborough, MA

Special Announcement
2010 Conference Keynote Speaker

We are very pleased to announce that Melissa Ford, one of the founders of an infertility blogger revolution that is changing the way infertility patients interact with each other and their treatment providers, will be the keynote speaker at our 2010 annual conference.

Melissa Ford is the author of the award-winning website, Stirrup Queens, and has been blogging since 2006. She is also a contributing editor at BlogHer, the premier women's blog platform. While carving new paths in the blogosphere herself, Ford also provides inspiration and leadership by publicizing new bloggers and facilitating connections through social media. During this year's National Infertility Awareness Week, Melissa led the conversation through Project IF, successfully encouraging legions to share their biggest “what if” regarding infertility.

Ford is also author of the book, Navigating the Land of IF, an insider’s guide that helps readers move through the emotional landscape of infertility. In the book, she shares her hard-earned knowledge and insights so couples struggling with infertility can navigate a confusing, difficult world of choices and decisions. Ford completed her MFA at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She lives outside Washington, D.C. with her writer husband, Joshua, and their twins. Her new book, Life from Scratch, a work of fiction, will be released in December 2010.

Note: The complete schedule for our 2010 conference will be updated and posted in August. Please check back. In the meantime we invite you to review our 2009 schedule, as our program will be very similar in 2010.

Please join us for this day-long educational event, offering nearly 40 workshops covering all aspects of medical treatment, emotional and legal issues, donor choices, and adoption options.

If you are new to infertility or in the midst of the process and are facing difficult decisions, the volume of information and the range of feelings you must sort through can be overwhelming. This annual conference provides the information you need in a compassionate context with people who know what it is like to face this crisis. The conference will help you become an informed consumer of infertility treatment and services and will help you meet the challenge of your infertility and make the best possible choices.

What does our Annual Conference provide?
  • Information on state-of-the-art infertility treatments
  • Tools for managing the emotional experience of infertility
  • Resources and information on adoption, donor choices, and other family building options.
  • Insight into how others have faced the challenges of infertility and successfully achieved parenthood
  • Resources for family, friends and professionals
  • New Ask the Experts, Q&A Sessions, 4:20 - 5:00 p.m.
  • New Adoption Seminar Track. This track of workshops, an in-depth overview and "how to" of adoption, is identical to our stand-alone Adoption Decision Making Seminar.
